After the defeat, a stunned Shanaka stated, “We didn’t execute our plans well.” We went for the yorkers and didn’t execute with low full tosses and half volleys, in my opinion. That’s where I truly think errors occurred. I believe it would have been different if they had stuck to that hard length, wicket-to-wicket, as the Namibian bowlers did so well.”
