IPL Auction 2023:The 16th season of the Indian Premier League will take place in 2023. The Indian Premier League was first held by BCCI in 2008 and has since been staged successfully without a season break. TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction list announced
The TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction is set to take place in Kochi on December 23, 2022, and will feature 405 cricket players in total. Ten teams selected a total of 369 people from the 991 registrants on the initial list. After 36 additional players were requested by teams and included on the final list, 405 players will be up for bid in the TATA IPL 2023 Auction.
Of the 405 participants, 273 are from India, 132 are from other countries, and 4 are from alliance partners. There are 4 players from associate nations, 282 players who have no cap, and 119 players who have one.
There are now 87 spots available, 30 of which are set aside for international players.
With 19 players from outside wanting to be included in the elite category, the highest reserve cost is INR 2 crore.
11 players have been included in the auction with a starting offer of INR 1.5 crore. Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are the two cricket players from India that earn a base salary of INR 1 crore.

IPL 2023 Auction Rules
The IPL 2023 mini-auction is slated to take place in Kochi on December 23. In contrast to last year, IPL franchises will be able to keep the majority of their players and participate in the auction this year. The benefit of keeping key players will be available to the teams.
- There will be no room for the Right To Match (RTM) card.
- A squad must consist of no more than 25 players and at least 17 players.
- The BCCI has also established a maximum and minimum for the proportion of domestic and international cricketers in a squad. Indian players are limited to 25 per team, with 17 being the lower limit.
- The maximum number of international players who can be in a squad is 8.
- 75% of each franchise’s allowed purse value will have to be paid.
- Beyond the amount of the purse, no purchases are allowed.
